OVERVIEW:Our client, a Global Fortune 50 organization and one of world&rsquo;s largest distributors of Health care systems, medical supplies &amp; Pharmaceutical products, seeks an accomplished &ldquo;Licensed Pharmacy Technician&rdquo;** JOB ID: JP00006331** TITLE: Licensed Pharmacy Technician ** LOCATION: Onsite Role | Client Location: 845 Regent Blvd Irving TX 75063** DURATION: 3-month assignment with the possibility of extension** WORK SCHEDULE: Monday&ndash;Friday, 8 AM &ndash; 6 PM (8-hour shift + 30-min lunch)Pay Rate: $19.00/hr.LICENSE REQUIREMENT:<ul><li>Must have: Active Texas Pharmacy Technician License &amp; and Previous pharmacy experience of at least 6 months</li></ul>About the Role:We&rsquo;re looking for a licensed Pharmacy Technician with strong attention to detail and a passion for helping patients. In this role, you&rsquo;ll assist pharmacists with prescription data entry, refill processing, and insurance verification &mdash; all while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and excellent service.You&rsquo;ll start onsite for hands-on training, working closely with experienced pharmacy professionals before transitioning to a hybrid schedule.Responsibilities:<ul><li>Enter and process new and refill prescriptions accurately in the pharmacy system.</li><li>Verify eligibility, insurance, and third-party claims.</li><li>Confirm patient and prescriber information, calculate dosages, and maintain compliance with all regulations.</li><li>Support daily pharmacy operations &mdash; including documentation, shipment coordination, and communication with providers.</li><li>Maintain accurate records and uphold HIPAA and pharmacy compliance standards.</li><li>Meet productivity, quality, and attendance goals consistently.</li></ul>Job Requirements:<ul><li>Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.</li><li>Active Texas Pharmacy Technician License &mdash; must be valid for at least 90 days beyond the start date.</li><li>At least 6 months of prior pharmacy experience (retail, hospital, or mail order).</li><li>Reliable transportation and ability to work onsite 5 days/week during training.</li><li>Availability during standard business hours (8 AM&ndash;6 PM).</li><li>Detail-oriented with excellent documentation and communication skills</li></ul>Job Types: Full-time, ContractPay: Up to $19.00 per hourExpected hours: 40 per weekBenefits:<ul><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>Pharmacy Operations: 1 year (Required)</li></ul>License/Certification:<ul><li>Pharmacy Technician License (Required)</li></ul>Ability to Commute:<ul><li>Irving, TX 75063 (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
