Job SummaryThe Maintenance Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising the maintenance and repair of the company&rsquo;s fleet, and ensure safe, reliable, and cost-effective operations. The role supports uninterrupted logistics operations through preventive maintenance, vendor coordination, and compliance with safety and statutory standards.Key ResponsibilitiesFleet Maintenance<ul><li>Oversee preventive and breakdown maintenance of company vehicles (trucks, trailers, delivery vans, forklifts, etc.).</li><li>Ensure optimal vehicle uptime and availability for logistics operations.</li><li>Monitor vehicle performance, fuel efficiency, and maintenance costs.</li><li>Maintain detailed maintenance records, service schedules, and repair history.</li></ul>Vendor &amp; Contractor Management<ul><li>Identify, evaluate, and manage maintenance vendors, garages, and service contractors.</li><li>Negotiate service agreements, AMC contracts, and spare-part procurement.</li><li>Ensure quality, timely service delivery, and cost control.</li></ul>Planning &amp; Cost Control<ul><li>Prepare and manage maintenance budgets.</li><li>Control maintenance expenses and reduce downtime through effective planning.</li><li>Track KPIs such as vehicle availability, MTTR, and maintenance cost per vehicle.</li></ul>Safety &amp; Compliance<ul><li>Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, road safety norms, pollution control, and insurance regulations.</li><li>Implement safety standards for fleet and facilities.</li><li>Conduct regular safety inspections and audits.</li></ul>Team Management<ul><li>Lead and supervise maintenance staff, technicians, and mechanics.</li><li>Plan work schedules, assign tasks, and evaluate performance.</li><li>Train team members on safety practices and maintenance procedures.</li></ul>Reporting &amp; Coordination<ul><li>Prepare maintenance MIS reports for management review.</li><li>Coordinate with operations, transport, and warehouse teams to minimize disruptions.</li><li>Support breakdown resolution and emergency maintenance requirements.</li></ul>Skills &amp; Competencies<ul><li>Strong knowledge of fleet maintenance and logistics operations</li><li>Budgeting and cost-control expertise</li><li>Vendor negotiation and contract management</li><li>Problem-solving and decision-making skills</li><li>Knowledge of safety, statutory, and compliance requirements</li><li>Team leadership and communication skills</li></ul>Qualifications &amp; Experience<ul><li>Diploma / Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Mechanical, Automobile, or Electrical Engineering (preferred)</li><li>5&ndash;10 years of experience in maintenance management within logistics, transport, or fleet-based organizations</li><li>Hands-on experience in vehicle maintenance and facility management</li></ul>Job Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹85,000.00 per monthBenefits:<ul><li>Cell phone reimbursement</li><li>Flexible schedule</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>Provident Fund</li></ul>Work Location: In person
