<li>Digital Systems Design</li>
<li>Embedded Systems and Real-Time Systems</li>
<li>Operating Systems and Systems Programming</li>
<li>Software Engineering</li>
<li>Algorithms Design and Analysis</li>
<li>Cybersecurity</li>
<li>Machine Learning</li>
<li>Neural Networks and Deep Learning</li>
<li>Artificial Intelligence</li>
<li>Computer Vision</li>
<li>Cloud Computing and Distributed Systems</li>
<li>Big Data Analytics and Data-Intensive Computing</li>
<li>Intelligent and Data-Driven Computing Systems</li>
<li>Hardware&ndash;Software Co-Design and System Integration</li>
</ul></li><li>Develop, sustain, and lead an active, externally funded research program in one or more areas aligned with the Computer Engineering track, such as:
<ul><li>Intelligent and data-driven systems</li>
<li>Machine learning applications and AI-enabled systems</li>
<li>Cloud, distributed, and high-performance computing</li>
<li>Embedded and real-time computing systems</li>
<li>Data-centric and large-scale computing architectures</li>
</ul></li><li>Publish research outcomes in high-impact, peer-reviewed international journals and conferences.</li>
<li>Supervise undergraduate capstone projects as well as Master&rsquo;s and PhD students.</li>
<li>Contribute to curriculum development and continuous improvement of the Communications and Computer Engineering (CCE) program, particularly the Computer Engineering concentration.</li>
<li>Participate in interdisciplinary research initiatives and collaborative projects with industry, national laboratories, and international research institutions.</li>
<li>Support innovation, technology transfer, and entrepreneurship activities, including applied research and industry-driven projects.</li>
<li>Provide academic and institutional service at the program, school, and university levels.</li>
</ul><h4 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Education Major and Qualifications:</b></h4>
<p><b>
Applicants should have:</b></p>
<ul>
<li>A PhD in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Engineering, or a closely related Engineering field from a highly reputable institution.</li>
<li>A strong academic background and established research profile in computer engineering and/or information engineering related areas.</li>
<li>Demonstrated ability to teach effectively in English at both undergraduate and graduate levels.</li>
<li>Proven experience with modern engineering education methodologies, including project-based learning and laboratory-centered instruction.</li>
<li>A strong record of high-quality research publications and graduate student supervision.</li>
<li>Demonstrated success in applying for and securing national and/or international research funding.</li>
<li>Industry experience in computer systems, embedded systems, networking, cybersecurity, or related domains, with the ability to foster applied research, innovation, and technology transfer.</li>
<li>Familiarity with national and international accreditation standards (ABET or equivalent).</li>
<li>Experience in establishing and developing research laboratories, research groups, or research tracks.</li>
<li>Experience in curriculum design and development, particularly for computer engineering and systems-oriented programs.</li>
<li>Excellent communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.</li>
