The University of Science and Technology at Zewail City of Science. Technology and Innovation is seeking a full-time faculty member at the School of Computational Sciences and Artificial Intelligence to join the following programs:

Qualifications and Courses:

• Applicants should hold a Ph.D. in a relevant area to the following specializations from a recognized highly reputable University:

• Extensive research and industrial work experience.
• A proven record of high-quality research publications and graduate supervision.
• Experience in teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in relevant areas.
• Experience in curriculum development is desired.
• Ability to conduct independent and collaborative research in the mentioned areas.
• Familiarity with national and international accreditation processes (NAQAA, ABET).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Applicants should show their proficiency to teach multiple courses on at least one of the following:
• Fundamental courses in SWD (SWE, Design, Development, Testing & QA), Game Design and Development, Geometric Modeling for Visualization, Computer Graphics, Rendering and graphics programming, Unreal Engine and/or Unity, Human Computer Interaction, Human Factors, Immersive technologies (VR/AR/MR).
• Neural Networks and Deep Learning, Machine Learning, NLP, Computer Vision, Speech Recognition, Deep Reinforcement Learning, Generative AI, MLOPs, Explainable AI, LLM, Knowledge Representation & Reasoning, Cloud Computing.
• Data Mining, Information Retrieval, Data Governance, Data Integration & Visualization, Big Data Analytics.
• Cyber Security, Secure Programming, System Administration for Security, Applied Cryptography, Ethical Hacking and Penetration Testing, Digital Forensics, Malware Analysis, Network Security, Cloud Security, IOT Security, Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC)

Key Responsibilities:

Successful candidates are expected to:

• Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in their area of specialization
• Develop and maintain an active, externally funded research program
• Publish in high-impact, peer-reviewed international journals
• Supervise undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral students
• Contribute to curriculum development and academic program growth
• Participate in interdisciplinary research initiatives and industry collaboration
• Contribute to innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem development and support at Zewail City
• Provide academic and institutional service at the department, college, and university levels
