We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Special Education Teacher to join our team for the school year 2025-26. For a full-time full year position.Duties<ul><li>Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's unique needs.</li><li>Create engaging lesson plans that incorporate literacy education, math, and other core subjects.</li><li>Utilize effective classroom management techniques to maintain a positive learning environment.</li><li>Provide speech therapy and behavioral therapy as needed to support student development.</li><li>Conduct assessments and standardized testing to monitor student progress.</li><li>Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other professionals to support student growth.</li><li>Offer tutoring and mentoring to enhance student understanding of material.</li><li>Engage in early intervention strategies for students requiring additional support.</li><li>Foster communication skills through various teaching methods and activities.</li><li>Maintain accurate records of student performance and progress.</li></ul>Experience Candidates should possess the following qualifications:<ul><li>Proven experience working with students in special education settings.</li><li>Background in early childhood education or childhood development is preferred.</li><li>Familiarity with curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom experience.</li><li>Experience working with individuals with autism, developmental disabilities, or behavioral health issues is highly desirable.</li><li>Knowledge of IEP processes and experience in mentoring or tutoring students.</li><li>Strong communication skills are essential for effective collaboration with families and colleagues.</li></ul>Job Types: Full-time, ContractPay: $82,444.41 - $95,330.90 per yearBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Referral program</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Work Location: In person
