أخصائي علاج وظيفي معتمد (Certified Occupational Therapy Specialist)

The main role is to promote the function and engagement of infants and toddlers and their families in everyday routines by addressing areas of occupation, including activities of daily living, rest and sleep, play, education, and social participation. Practitioners enhance a family’s capacity to care for their child and promote his or her development and participation in natural environments where the child and family live, work, and play.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct family centered evaluations and assessments of children “daily life activities “to determine their needs
• to meet the unique needs of each family and provide direct and in direct training and coaching to mothers
• Collaborate with families, teachers, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive and holistic Develop and implement individualized family service plans
• Implement therapy techniques individual and group activities to improve fine and gross motor skills, hand-eye coordination, sensory processing, and self-care abilities
• Monitor and document children's progress, modify treatment plans as needed, and communicate with families and other team members
• Stay up-to-date with current best practices and advancements in the field of Occupational Therapy
• Develop a plan for home training
• Maintain children’s files and records up-to-date and comprehensive in terms of evaluation and goals

Education and Experience:

1. Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy or any related field.

2. At least two years of experience in the same or related filed
