Position: Infrastructure Designer (OCP , FTTH Designer)

Overview:

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Team Lead to oversee our basemap drafting operations. The ideal candidate must be fluent in English, possess strong civil drafting and basemap drafting experience, and demonstrate excellent leadership and management capabilities. This role requires the ability to guide a team, ensure drafting accuracy, and maintain efficient workflow to support our engineering and construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, supervise, and support a team of drafters to ensure high-quality basemap drawings.
• Review, assign, and monitor daily drafting tasks and project deadlines.
• Ensure all designs comply with company drafting standards and civil engineering requirements.
• Provide guidance, training, and performance feedback to team members.
• Coordinate with the Toronto design team and communicate project updates clearly and professionally.
• Manage workload planning to maintain productivity and meet project timelines.
• Troubleshoot drafting issues and provide technical support to the team.
• Maintain documentation, reports, and project tracking for internal and external teams.
• Ensure quality control, accuracy, and consistency across all drafting outputs.
• Uphold a positive and collaborative team environment.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Fluent English (written and verbal) – ability to coordinate with international teams.
• Must have North American project experience.
• Minimum 2–5 years of basemap drafting experience, preferably in telecom or civil drafting.
• Strong knowledge of drafting standards, design principles, and CAD software (NanoCAD/AutoCAD).
• Background in civil engineering or construction-related drafting is preferred.
• Proven leadership or supervisory experience.
• Excellent communication, time management, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs160,000.00 - Rs210,000.00 per month
