Location : Upper East Side, NYC

Schedule: Monday through Thursday, 8:15 a.m. – 5:15 p.m., Friday, 8:15 a.m. – 8:30 p.m. Guaranteed 45-50 hours per week.

Start Date: ASAP

Compensation: $35–$40/hour

Children’s ages: 2.5 and 8 months old

Key Responsibilities

Childcare Duties:

• Engaging the children in fun, age-appropriate, and enriching activities that promote their learning and development
• Diaper changes and supporting healthy hygiene
• Sanitizing the children’s equipment (e.g, bottles, the stroller, highchair, bottles)
• Maintaining the children’s napping and feeding schedules
• Organize playdates, outings, and create enrichment opportunities
• Managing the children’s laundry and organizing closets
• Restocking child-related supplies (e.g., the diaper bag, backpack, snacks)
• Tidying the children’s bedroom, play area, kitchen, and shared spaces
• Preparing healthy meals for the children with some light cooking for the children
  
  

The Ideal Candidate

• Reliable, punctual, and professional
• Flexible with scheduling and staying late on occasional evenings and weekends
• Active, energetic, and happy to engage in imaginative play and activities
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to manage time and tasks independently.
  
  

Requirements

• 5+ years of full-time nanny experience
• Recent experience with infants and toddlers
• Excellent relevant references
• Legally permitted to work in the U.S.
• Flexibility with the schedule, and interested in occasional weekend hours when agreed
• Pet friendly
  
  

Travel & Other Notes

• Occasional travel – once or twice a year
• 1 hypoallergenic family dog
