Job Purpose & Responsibilities

The Senior Officer - Alumni Engagement and Career Services supports the mission of the Alumni and Career Services Department within the Student Success Office by strengthening alumni engagement, enhancing student employability, and delivering impactful career services programs.

The role contributes to building meaningful relationships with alumni, employers, and industry partners while supporting students and graduates in developing career readiness skills, accessing internship and employment opportunities, and building sustainable professional networks. The position also supports the organization of career events, alumni initiatives, and employer engagement activities that contribute to graduate success and institutional reputation.

Minimum Qualification and Education

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Mass Communication, Education, Liberal Arts, or a related field.

Required Knowledge And Skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze and revise operating practices to improve efficiency.
  • Record of accomplishment of fostering collaboration and lasting partnerships.
  • Superior organization skills and ability to complete projects.
  • Projects in a timely manner.
  • Knowledge of international higher education systems preferred American model.
  • Effectively using interpersonal and communications skills, including tact and diplomacy, and working with individuals from different cultures.
Work Experience
  • Minimum 5 years post bachelor's degree professional work experience in an organization.
  • Work experience in an organizational setting that is customer facing.
  • A proven understanding of Higher Education.
  • Demonstrable experience of working with groups of students and alumni and strong interpersonal communication skills.
  • Demonstrable experience of working with employers.
Language Proficiency Required

Fluent in English and Arabic
