1.0 FTE LONG TERM SUBSTITUTE ELEMENTARY TEACHER - 20+DAYS

ANTICIPATED OPENING - SALARY AS PER BOARD APPROVED OTHER RATES OF PAY - $155.00/DAY - AFTER 20 DAYS $174.10/DAY

• Current New York State Certification in Childhood Education (Grades 1-6);
• Willingness to expand and develop both knowledge of subject matter and instructional strategies to improve student learning;
• Ability to collaborate with other school staff, parents, administration;
• Experience in the use of technology, communications and information systems to support student learning;
• Experience teaching ELA/Reading and/or Social Studies preferred.
• Assume all duties and responsibilities of a 5th grade classroom teacher;
• Other duties as assigned.
