Duties

• Safely operate a box truck or similar vehicle to deliver medical supplies, pharmaceuticals, and equipment across designated routes.
• Load and unload deliveries using manual handling techniques, pallet jacks, or forklifts when necessary.
• Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and on schedule while maintaining compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients, answering questions, and addressing concerns professionally.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform routine inspections to ensure optimal operation.
• Follow route plans meticulously to maximize efficiency and reduce delivery times.
• Keep detailed records of deliveries, including signatures, timestamps, and any discrepancies or issues encountered.

Experience

• Prior delivery driver experience, especially within courier or medical supply sectors.
• Familiarity with warehouse operations, including loading/unloading procedures and inventory management.
• Experience driving box trucks or similar commercial vehicles with manual transmissions.
• Knowledge of route driving techniques to optimize delivery schedules.
• Ability to lift heavy packages repeatedly and perform physical tasks such as moving supplies or equipment.
• Competence in operating forklifts or pallet jacks is a plus but not mandatory; training can be provided.
