Fairmount Payments is looking for driven, relationship-focused sales professionals to grow our presence in the local market. We are seeking both:

  • Experienced merchant services / payments professionals, and
  • Sales professionals with established experience selling into medical, dental, chiropractic, and auto repair businesses

This is a strong opportunity for someone who wants to represent a company with real solutions, not just rates. Our team helps business owners improve operations and profitability through payment processing, software integrations, and business technology solutions tailored to their industry.

If you already have relationships in these verticals, or you know how to open doors and build trust with local business owners, this role gives you the ability to create immediate income while building toward a larger long-term opportunity.

What You’ll Sell

You will represent a portfolio of solutions designed to help business owners streamline operations and improve the customer payment experience, including:

  • Payment processing solutions
  • POS and payment technology
  • Software and system integrations
  • Solutions for medical, dental, chiropractic, and auto repair practices
  • Business tools that support efficiency, collections, and growth

Who We’re Looking For

We want professionals who know how to win business face-to-face, build referral relationships, and speak confidently with owners, office managers, and decision-makers.

Ideal candidates may come from backgrounds such as:

  • Merchant services / credit card processing sales
  • POS sales
  • Medical sales
  • Dental industry sales
  • Chiropractic consulting or sales
  • Auto repair software, service, or vendor sales
  • B2B outside sales
  • Payroll, SaaS, or business services sales

Responsibilities

  • Prospect and develop new business in the local market
  • Build relationships with medical, dental, chiropractic, and auto repair businesses
  • Generate self-sourced leads through networking, referrals, canvassing, and local outreach
  • Meet with business owners and decision-makers to understand current systems and needs
  • Present payment and technology solutions that align with the client’s workflow and business goals
  • Work closely with leadership to move opportunities from initial conversation to close
  • Maintain a healthy pipeline and consistent sales activity
  • Represent Fairmount Payments professionally in the community and in the field

Qualifications

  • Prior B2B sales experience preferred
  • Merchant services or payment processing experience is strongly preferred, but not required
  • Experience selling into medical, dental, chiropractic, or auto repair businesses is highly valued
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Comfortable with outside sales, prospecting, and local territory development
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently in a 1099 environment
  • Professional presence and consultative sales approach
  • Reliable transportation for local travel
