About the student
- 10th grade student
- The student needs to work with a tutor for support for his Algebra, Biology, and World History classes.
- Mom is asking for either certified teacher or a retired teacher to work with her son.
- The student is a 10th grader at Forest High School. He isn't currently struggling with anything, but Mom would like to have a tutor who can help with homework assignments and answer any questions he may have. The student is also preparing for end-of-year exams, so she wants him and the tutor to work on review if needed.
- The main goals are for the student is to get extra help with homework, ensure questions are answered for him, and overall to be confident in himself so he can finish off the year strong.
- The family is asking for 1.5 hour sessions once a week, between 4pm-10pm, on either Tuesday or Wednesday.
- The family is seeking a tutor who can meet at their home in Ocala not far from Reservoir Park.
Qualifications
- Ideal candidates have prior experience working with high school students.
- Ideal candidates will be either a credentialed teacher or a retired teacher.
- Ideal candidates will have prior experience tutoring or teaching Algebra, Biology, & History.
- Willing to travel within your preferred local radius to meet the student (typically 5-10 miles)
- Due to insurance requirements, applicants must not be a minor.
Student Availability
TUE & WED: 4:00pm-10:00pm
Pay & Benefits
- $25.00-$28.00 per hour
