10ton Truck Driver

Overview: Asnani Steel Industries LLC is a leading provider of high-quality steel products in the UAE. We are seeking an experienced and reliable 10-ton Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting steel products and materials safely and efficiently between our manufacturing facility and various client locations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Transport Steel Products: Safely drive company trucks to deliver steel products, including finished goods, to designated locations across the UAE.
• Load and Unload: Ensure proper loading and unloading of steel products, using appropriate equipment and adhering to safety protocols.
• Route Planning: Plan and follow the scheduled route assigned by the Logistics and Dispatch Officer taking into account the most efficient routes to ensure timely deliveries while considering traffic conditions and road closures.
• Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct routine checks and maintenance on the truck to ensure it is in good working condition. Report any mechanical issues or required repairs to the Logistics and Dispatch Officer.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of driving logs, deliveries, including delivery notes, invoices, and any other relevant paperwork. Obtain necessary signatures and confirm receipt of goods.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations to ensure safe and compliant operations. Maintain a clean driving track record with no at-fault accidents or traffic violations.
• Customer Service: Provide excellent service to clients by being courteous, professional, and responsive to their needs during delivery.
• Communication: Maintain clear communication with the Logistics and Dispatch Officer regarding delivery status, any issues encountered, and other relevant information.

Qualifications:

• Valid UAE Driving License: Possess a valid UAE heavy truck driving license category 4.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience as a truck driver, preferably in the steel manufacturing or construction industry.
• Knowledge: Familiarity with the UAE road network, safety regulations, and handling of steel products. Experience with GPS systems and route planning.
• Skills: Strong driving skills, ability to operate heavy-duty trucks safely, and excellent attention to detail.
• Physical Fitness: Ability to handle the physical demands of the job, including loading and unloading steel products. Good vision and hearing to ensure safe driving.
