About the student

• 11th grade student
• The student needs to work with a tutor for support for his Algebra 2 class.
• The student is an 11th grader attending Tuscarora High School. He has always struggled with math but this class has been a big challenge since the start of the school year. He's maintaining A's and B's in all of his other classes, but worries about his ability to pass Algebra 2 without additional support.
• The goal is for the student to end the school year with a passing grade.
• The family is asking for 1 hour sessions 3 times a week during their available times. They are available Monday through Friday from 5pm-8pm as well as Saturday from 7am-8pm.
• The family is seeking a tutor who can meet at their home in Leesburg not far from Potomac Crossing Park.

Qualifications

• Ideal candidates have prior experience working with high school students.
• Ideal candidates will have prior experience tutoring or teaching math.
• Willing to travel within your preferred local radius to meet the student (typically 5-10 miles)
• Due to insurance requirements, applicants must not be a minor.

Student Availability

MON-FRI: 5:00pm-8:00pm

SAT: 7:00am-8:00pm

Pay & Benefits

• $25.00-$30.00 per hour
