11th Grade Chemistry & Trigonometry Tutor - Part Time, in Person in Yakima

About the student

• 11th grade student
• The student needs to work with a tutor for support for her Chemistry & Trigonometry classes.
• The student is an 11th grader attending West Valley. The student is having a difficult time with the material in both classes and wants the added support of a tutor. She is currently working on logarithms in her trigonometry class and she has no conceptual understanding of chemistry.
• The goal is for the student to feel confident working on her trigonometry and chemistry subjects independently.
• The family is asking for 1 hour sessions 2 times a week during their available times. They are available Monday through Friday from 5pm-10pm and Saturday & Sunday from 7am-10pm.
• The family is seeking a tutor who can meet at their home in the outskirts of Yakima next to Terrace Heights Elementary School.

Qualifications

• Ideal candidates have prior experience working with high school students.
• Ideal candidates will have prior experience tutoring or teaching Chemistry and Trigonometry.
• Willing to travel within your preferred local radius to meet the student (typically 5-10 miles)
• Due to insurance requirements, applicants must not be a minor.

Student Availability

MON-FRI: 5:00pm-10:00pm

SAT-SUN: 7:00am-10:00pm

Pay & Benefits

• $25.00-$28.00 per hour
