We are seeking an experienced GCP Security Operations Specialist to design, implement, and manage security controls across cloud and on-prem environments. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in vulnerability management, compliance assessment, and security policy enforcement, with hands-on experience in Linux systems and familiarity with networking technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

. Design and implement security controls for GCP environments and on-prem private clouds.
. Perform vulnerability scanning, analyze findings, and coordinate remediation efforts.
. Conduct vulnerability assessments, compliance checks, and enforce security policies.
. Manage and monitor GCP-native security tools (e.g., Security Command Center, IAM, VPC Service Controls).
. Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to ensure secure configurations and deployments.
. Support incident response, security investigations, and risk mitigation activities.
. Prepare documentation, reports, and assist with audits and compliance requirements.


Required Skills & Qualifications:

. 3–5 years of experience in cloud security operations (GCP preferred).
. Strong knowledge of vulnerability assessment, compliance frameworks, and security policies.
. Hands-on experience with Linux operating systems and applications.
. Familiarity with network technologies and protocols (TCP/IP, WAN/LAN, MPLS, etc.).
. Experience with vulnerability scanning tools and remediation processes.
. Good understanding of GCP security best practices, IAM, and regulatory compliance standards.


Preferred Qualifications:

. Certification such as Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) or equivalent (e.g., CompTIA Security+, Google Professional Cloud Security Engineer).
. Exposure to AWS, Azure, and hybrid cloud environments.
. Knowledge of SIEM tools, incident response, and security automation.


Soft Skills:

. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
