Warehouse Technician 1st shift temp-to-hire – Delavan, WI

We have an opportunity for a temporary Warehouse Technician to join our Delavan, WI team. You will support the Shipping team by managing the end-to-end documentation, processing, and tracking of orders to ensure timely delivery. You will:

• Unload and load trucks in an efficient manner using mechanical and manual means

• Verify inventory and accuracy of shipping and receiving forms

• Deliver raw materials and finished goods using hand or forklift truck to proper departments, cells or other storage areas

• Pick and palletize orders for shipment.

• Accurately record in a timely manner all assigned receiving, inventory control and general warehousing transactions

• Use of current production and inventory control systems and software

• Must know how to use SAP system to be able to receive and ship orders. (Domestic and Export)

Key Qualifications:

• Be able to work from verbal instructions, written work instructions, and quality plans with minimal supervision.

• Be able to work in a team environment.

• Follow company safety rules and keep work area in a clean and orderly condition.

• Learn 5S Program & Tank Hazmat Training

• Ability to use forklift, order picker, reach truck, pallet wrapper, scales. Forklift operation-license preferred.

• Physical requirements: Medium work frequently and heavy work infrequently (moving 5-20lbs)

Shift/Hours:

• 1st shift: 6:00am – 2:30pm Monday – Friday

• Occasional mandatory overtime required

• This is a temporary position with the potential to go permanent within 90 days

Compensation:

The hourly pay for this role is: $18.00/hr. Opportunity for a rate increase after you are proficient in certain skills and have fulfilled training. Actual pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, and experience.
