Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Preschool School Teacher to join our early education team. This role involves developing and implementing developmentally appropriate lesson plans, working in an outdoor classroom environment, and collaborating with parents and staff to support the educational journey of each child.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement engaging curriculum that meets the needs of diverse learners.
• Utilize effective classroom management strategies to maintain a conducive learning environment.
• Support students with special education needs.
• Foster positive relationships with students, promoting their social and emotional development. Familiarity with the Teaching Pyramid is a plus.
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding children's progress and classroom activities.
• Be familiar with Title 22 licensing regulations.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay current with educational trends.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices in teaching and curriculum development.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 12 core units in ECE. An Associate degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
• Experience working with children in an educational setting, including preschool or daycare environments for a minimum of one year.
• Knowledge of childhood development principles and behavior management techniques.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and staff.
• Familiar with the Outdoor Classroom Project.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $21.00 - $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
