2026 Spring LabVIEW Engineering Intern

As a LabVIEW Test Engineering Intern, you will collaborate closely with the Test Engineering team to support the development of LabVIEW-based automated test applications for MKS VSD and IPM projects. This internship offers hands-on experience in Test automation, validation, and lab operations within a dynamic engineering environment.

Key Responsibilities

Assist engineers in designing, developing, and maintaining small to mid-sized LabVIEW-based Automated Test Equipment (ATE) applications.
Support lab activities including validation testing, data collection, and preparation of comprehensive test reports.
Participate in weekly team meetings and knowledge-sharing sessions.

Skills You Bring

Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Familiarity with lab measurement instruments such as Digital Multimeters (DMMs), oscilloscopes, and Data Acquisition (DAQ) systems.
Solid foundational engineering knowledge.

Preferred skills

LabVIEW certification (CLAD or CLD).
Programming experience in C or Python.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment

Ability to sit, stand, and type for extended periods.
Capable of lifting up to 30 lbs (13 kg).
Requires good manual dexterity and coordination for handling equipment and components.
Must be able to clearly communicate and exchange information.
Work is conducted in a professional office and/or lab/manufacturing setting.
Frequent use of computers and standard office equipment.
Visual acuity for close-range tasks.
Commitment to safety, especially when working with mechanical/electrical hardware, high voltage, gases, water, and heat.
Typical noise levels for lab and office environments.
