Honors Review Learning Center has been dedicated to providing excellent education for over 30 years in the Greater New Jersey/New York City Area. We are actively recruiting talented tutors to join our team to teach reading, writing, and math skills for school advancement and test preparation ( Digital SAT/ACT/APs). This is a great opportunity for those looking to enter a career in education.

The 2026 summer program will be run from June 29 th through August 14th.

THE ROLE

Tutors will be responsible for…

1. Following Honors Review curriculum to teach
Math (Algebra , Geometry, AP Calculus , AP Statistic )
High School English Literature
Science(Environmental Science , Biology, Chemistry, Physics)
Digital SAT/ACT test preparation.

2. Use personal teaching methods to lead and manage their classroom.

3. Being flexible in their approach to accommodate students levels and skills.

4. Updating center director on progress of student(s).

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Bachelor’s degree or higher is required (Recent graduates are encouraged to apply)

2. At least a high school level understanding of one or more of the following topics

• Algebra I, Algebra II, Geometry, Pre-Calculus
• AP Calculus & Science (Biology, Chemistry, Physics)
• English
• History
• Digital SAT/ACT/AP Preparation

3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with students, parents, director

4. Previous experience in teaching/tutoring/education

5. No teaching certifications required for this role.

Employment Type

This job will be for the period of the summer program, with opportunity for extension past the summer months. Pay rate is competitive.

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
