26ft Box Truck Driver - Appliances Delivery & Installation

We are looking for experienced 26ft Box Truck Drivers and Helpers delivering appliances for Lowes and Costco. These positions are to deliver and install appliances and household items. This is a very high energy, fast paced position where you'll be responsible to safely transport, deliver, and install items such as refrigerators, stoves, washers and dryers, etc.

This is a two-person team position that makes deliveries to customer's homes and businesses in Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach Counties. The ideal candidate will be expected have great time management and customer service experience. If you are reliable, dependable, hardworking, physically capable and ready to work, we are looking for you.

Position Details:

Driver Pay: $150 per day. Negotiable with full proven experience

Helper Pay: $130 per day. Negotiable with full proven experience

Schedule: 6 - 7 days per week with 6:30am Start time

Pay Schedule: Weekly (first check held for 2 weeks per company policy)

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Operate a 26ft Box Truck to safely transport and install appliances and household goods (for drivers)
• Perform heavy lifting and manual tasks safely
• Load and unload cargo efficiently using required equipment
• Must have your own tools including a drill to install appliances and household goods (washer, dryer, stove, refrigerator, etc.)
• Assist customers with appliance placement, setup, and removal of old units when required
• Maintain daily delivery log
• Conduct routine maintenance checks on truck (oil level, tire pressure, brakes, etc)
• Adhere to all safety protocols and traffic regulations while driving.

Requirements:

• Drivers must have a valid driver's license and clean driving records.
• All candidates must pass a background and drug test
• Drivers must have proven experience driving a 26ft Box Truck
• Must have experience with home deliveries, loading, and unloading procedures
• Must be able to communicate clearly, work independently and in a team, and be physically capable to perform the work

Pay:

• Up to $1,000 per week

Work Location:

• Warehouses in Sunrise and Pompano Beach, FL
