2D / 3D Animator - Safety Training

We are a leading safety training company specializing in the creation of engaging, industry-specific training and explainer videos using AI tools, stock footage, and animation. Our mission is to simplify complex safety protocols and deliver scalable, interactive learning experiences across sectors such as manufacturing, healthcare, logistics, and construction.

ROLE OVERVIEW

We are seeking a creative and technically skilled 2D / 3D Animator to lead the development of animated and AI-generated safety training content. This role does not involve live filming but focuses on assembling compelling visual narratives using digital assets, AI tools, and animation. The candidate must have a strong portfolio with experience in long-form video editing.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collaborate with safety experts and instructional designers to conceptualize and understand video scripts and training content (as needed)
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute fresh visual ideas
• Develop storyboards tailored to safety protocols and compliance standards
• Source and integrate stock footage, AI-generated visuals, and voiceovers
• Create and edit videos using tools like Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and AI platforms (e.g., Runway, Pictory, Synthesia)
• Create engaging motion graphics, 2D animations, and explainer videos for social media, websites, and online courses
• Add interactive elements such as quizzes, branching scenarios, and callouts using tools like Camtasia, Articulate Storyline, or PlayPosit
• Collaborate with creative leads to visualize tech-driven storytelling (AI, innovation, digital transformation)
• Manage production timelines, revisions, and asset libraries
• Ensure content is accessible, mobile-friendly, and aligned with industry regulations

REQUIRED SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE

TECHNICAL SKILLS:

• Expert-level proficiency in video editing software: Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, Sony Vegas
• Experience with AI video tools: Synthesia, Runway ML, Pictory, Lumen5
• Familiarity with interactive video platforms: Camtasia, Edpuzzle, PlayPosit, Articulate Storyline
• Knowledge of animation tools:
• 2D Animation: Vyond, Adobe Animate, After Effects (ideal for abstract concepts, character-driven storytelling, and cost-effective production)
• 3D Animation (if needed): Blender, Cinema 4D, Maya (for realistic simulations of machinery or environments)
• Strong understanding of composition, timing, rhythm, and visual storytelling

CREATIVE & INSTRUCTIONAL SKILLS

• Strong storytelling and visual communication abilities
• Understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design
• Ability to simplify complex safety procedures into engaging visual formats
