2D Animator

Overview
We are seeking a talented and creative 2D Animator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for animation and storytelling, with the ability to bring characters and scenes to life through engaging visuals. As a 2D Animator, you will work closely with our creative team to develop high-quality animations for various projects, including games, films, and digital media.

Duties

• Create captivating 2D animations that align with project goals and artistic direction.
• Collaborate with designers, artists, and directors to conceptualize and execute animation sequences.
• Utilize industry-standard software such as Adobe Creative Suite to produce high-quality animations.
• Implement scripting techniques to enhance animation functionality and interactivity.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions to contribute innovative ideas for character design and movement.
• Ensure animations are completed on time while maintaining high standards of quality.
• Revise animations based on feedback from team members and stakeholders.
• Stay updated on industry trends and techniques to continuously improve skills and knowledge.

Requirements

• Proficiency in digital art techniques and a strong portfolio showcasing 2D animation work.
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, particularly After Effects and Animate.
• Familiarity with scripting languages such as C++ or C# is a plus.
• Knowledge of anatomy principles to create realistic character movements.
• Experience in video editing to enhance animated content effectively.
• Understanding of 3D animation concepts is beneficial but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Perforce for project management.
• Strong attention to detail, creativity, and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to take constructive feedback positively.
