2D Animator

We’re now looking for a 2D Animator who can bring our characters, environments, and user interface elements to life with smooth, engaging animations. You’ll collaborate closely with artists, developers, and product teams to make sure our games are visually stunning and fun to play. Responsibilities

• Create high-quality 2D animations for game assets, characters, and user interface elements using Spine and Unity
• Animate simple 3D objects in Unity and coordinate with the Technical Artist for proper model preparation and layer separation
• Collaborate closely with 2D Artists to prepare and structure assets (layer separation and setup) required for animation production
• Integrate animations into Unity and collaborate closely with technical artists and developers
• Work with the art and product teams to ensure animations enhance gameplay and overall player experience
• Contribute to the animation pipeline by optimizing assets for performance and quality
• Share ideas to push our game’s animations further and review existing work to ensure continuous improvement

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience as a 2D Animator in games (mobile preferred)
• Strong knowledge of Spine and moderate knowledge of Unity
• Solid understanding of animation principles (timing, spacing, squash & stretch, anticipation, etc.)
• Ability to deliver clean, optimized, game-ready animations
• Team player mindset with strong communication skills

Nice to Have

• Background in 2D VFX (Unity particle systems, shaders, FX animation)
• Hands-on work on casual or stylized mobile games
• Solid understanding of game pipelines and performance optimization
• Experience leveraging AI tools and models to speed up and enhance animation production
