Overview
We are seeking a passionate and energetic 2K Teacher to inspire and nurture young learners in their early childhood education journey. This role is dedicated to creating a vibrant, safe, and engaging classroom environment where children can explore, learn, and grow. The ideal candidate will bring enthusiasm, creativity, and a strong commitment to fostering developmental milestones through innovative teaching methods and personalized attention. As a 2K Teacher, you will play a vital role in laying the foundation for lifelong learning by implementing curriculum development strategies tailored to preschool-aged children. Your dedication will help cultivate a love for learning while supporting their social, emotional, and cognitive development.

Duties

  • Design and implement dynamic lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards, including literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori methods.
  • Foster a nurturing classroom environment that promotes positive behavior management and child welfare.
  • Utilize classroom management techniques to maintain an organized, inclusive space conducive to learning and play.
  • Develop individualized learning activities that support children’s developmental stages, including special education and early intervention strategies.
  • Engage children in age-appropriate activities that enhance motor skills, social skills, and emotional regulation through hands-on experiences.
  • Conduct regular assessments using standardized testing methods to monitor progress and tailor instruction accordingly.
  • Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other educators to ensure comprehensive support for each child's growth and well-being.

Experience

  • Prior experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings is essential.
  • Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development and lesson planning for early childhood education.
  • Proven classroom experience managing young learners with diverse needs, including special education or early intervention programs.
  • Knowledge of childhood development principles, behavior management techniques, and classroom management best practices.
  • Familiarity with Montessori methods or other educational philosophies such as preschool experience or private school environments is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and team members.
  • Experience working with standardized testing tools and tutoring techniques to support academic achievement in early learners. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
