Job Type: Seasonal / Temporary (Summer 2026)

Dates of Employment: June 29, 2026 – August 21, 2026
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:15 AM – 3:30 PM
Compensation: $700–$750 per week (based on experience)

Position Overview

Camp W is hiring an energetic and dependable 2nd Grade Boys Counselor to join our summer team. This role is a great fit for elementary school teachers, , and college students pursuing their Masters degrees in education.

Counselors is responsible for guiding campers through daily activities while fostering a safe, engaging, and supportive atmosphere that encourages growth, friendship, and confidence.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and actively engage with a group of 12 ,2nd grade boys throughout the camp day
• Lead and participate in age-appropriate activities, games, and group events
• Promote positive behavior, teamwork, and inclusion
• Support campers’ social and emotional development
• Maintain a safe environment and respond appropriately to any issues that arise
• Collaborate with fellow staff to ensure smooth daily operations

Qualifications

• Experience working with young children (camp, classroom, babysitting, coaching, etc.) preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage groups with patience and positivity
• Reliable, responsible, and team-oriented
• Ideal candidates include:
• Certified elementary school teachers or teaching assistants
• College students majoring in education or related fields
