About this opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Kubernetes Administrator to deploy, manage, and maintain Kubernetes clusters across on-premise and cloud environments. You will be the sole owner of our Kubernetes infrastructure, ensuring high availability, security, and automation.
What you will do
- Deploy and configure Kubernetes clusters using Rancher.
- Perform cluster updates, patching, and troubleshooting for nodes, pods, and workloads.
- Configure storage solutions such as Longhorn or MinIO based on workload requirements.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines with Helm, ArgoCD, GitLab, or Ansible.
- Manage networking and security (CNI plugins, RBAC, service accounts, secrets, NeuVector..etc).
- Configure and manage load balancers and ingress components (NGINX Ingress Controller, HAProxy, Keepalived, MetalLB).
- Deploy and operate supporting services such as MongoDB, Redis.
- Implement monitoring and logging solutions (Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, Tempo).
- Maintain underlying Linux OS, including installation, patching, and security hardening.
- Design backup, disaster recovery, and high-availability strategies.
The skills you bring:
- Proficiency with Kubernetes administration using Rancher and cluster lifecycle management.
- Experience with storage solutions and Linux system administration.
- Knowledge of CI/CD, networking, and security in Kubernetes.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools.
- Experience with configuring load balancers (NGINX, HAProxy, Keepalived, MetalLB).
- Familiarity with databases and caching systems (MongoDB, Redis).
- DevOps experience will be considered as added value.
