Transportation Dispatcher (2nd Shift)

Berryman Transfer is hiring a Transportation Dispatcher to join our growing operations team. This role is responsible for coordinating drivers, monitoring routes, communicating with customers, and ensuring deliveries are completed safely and on time.

We are currently seeking a dispatcher for our second-shift operation. If you have experience in transportation dispatching, logistics coordination, fleet operations, or customer service in a transportation environment, we encourage you to apply.

Dispatchers play a critical role in supporting drivers, resolving real-time issues, and maintaining efficient transportation operations in a fast-paced environment.

Schedule

• Thursday, Friday, Saturday
• 2:00 PM – Midnight (End of Shift)

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and communicate with drivers throughout their routes
• Monitor deliveries and pickup schedules
• Assist with resolving service issues and delays
• Communicate with customers regarding shipment status
• Maintain accurate dispatch records and documentation
• Work closely with operations and warehouse teams to support daily transportation needs

Qualifications

• Transportation dispatch or logistics experience preferred
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Basic computer skills and experience with transportation software a plus
• Reliable attendance and punctuality

Weekend availability is required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
