2nd Shift Grinder

Position Overview: We have an opening for a Grinder in our Manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate for the role will be a team player, has good attention to detail, and someone that takes initiative and is self-motivated.

Job Duties:

• Hand grinding and sandblasting metal parts to clean and prepare for welding.
• Selecting and changing appropriate grinding belts as needed
• Load, unload, and transport containers of parts between operations/stations
• Repairs or replaces machine parts and grinding wheels to maintain machine in optimal operational condition.
• Removes workpiece and examines finish to ensure surface meets specifications.
• May work in other departments as needed for business and training purposes.
• Other duties as assigned.

Skills:

• Mechanically inclined
• Ability to work as a team
• Ability to lift 25-50 lbs regularly
• Bi-lingual English/Spanish preferred
• Ability to communicate with other team members effectively

Education/Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
