2nd Shift Machine Operator - Manufacturing experience required

Now Hiring: 2nd Shift General Laborer

We are looking for applicants experienced in manufacturing to work as a general laborer. This position supports production operations by providing flexible labor coverage across the plant. Having Press Brake experience is a plus!

Pay Range: $21.70- $25.25/hr - $2.50/hr Shift Differential
Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 4:00pm - 2:30am. 3-day weekend every week!

General Laborer Job Duties May Include:

• Prepare and inspect materials for production
• Operate machinery under supervision to bend and form metal parts
• Perform detailed and complicated assembly of components accurately
• Read and follow job travelers, work orders, and blueprints
• May Operate laser welding machines or industrial robots
• Remove rough spots from work pieces, using portable grinders, hand files, or scrapers
• Chip or grind off excess weld, slag, or spatter, using hand scrapers or power chippers, portable grinders, or arc-cutting equipment
• Assist with stacking, racking, hanging, and/or packing parts
• Perform quality checks and record results
• Keep work areas clean and organized
• Assist in maintaining a safe work environment
• Other duties as assigned

What We’re Looking For in a General Laborer:

• Experience in a manufacturing setting
• Strong blueprint reading and interpretation skills
• Solid understanding of basic math for accurate fabrication
• Experience with machining, laser cutting, or fabrication is a plus
• Familiarity with micrometers, calipers, and other measurement tools
• Forklift and crane operation experience is an advantage
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Physical Requirements: Regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. Regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds; and occasionally lift up to 75 pounds unassisted.

Pay: $21.70 - $25.25 per hour
