What you’ll do

• Coordinate transportation schedules for shuttle and delivery services to ensure timely operations
• Oversee route driving and manage logistics for efficient freight movement
• Load and unload commercial vehicles, ensuring proper handling of goods
• Communicate effectively with drivers and team members to resolve any issues that arise during shifts
• Maintain accurate records of vehicle inspections, maintenance, and transportation logs
• Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor vehicle issues as they occur
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all transportation activities

Basic qualifications

• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with experience in operating various types of vehicles including box trucks, dump trucks, and tractor-trailers
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members and drivers
• Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other heavy equipment safely

Preferred qualifications

• Experience in paratransit or school bus driving is a plus
• Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles and heavy haul operations
• Previous warehouse experience or knowledge of freight handling procedures
