2nd Shift Server

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience
• Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Toast POS, ensuring clarity and efficiency
• Serve food and beverages promptly, maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
• Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
• Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately, including cashiering and processing payments
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and assisting with food handling procedures
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery in a fine dining
• Demonstrate excellent guest relations skills by addressing questions, resolving concerns, and creating a welcoming atmosphere
• Follow all food safety protocols, sanitation procedures, and food preparation guidelines to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff

Experience

• Previous restaurant or food service experience preferred.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Toast POS, or similar platforms is highly desirable
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to upsell menu items confidently
• Knowledge of food handling, sanitation standards, and basic math for cash handling and transactions
• Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining attention to detail in service delivery
