Job Summary:
Central Plains Steel, a division of Feralloy, is seeking a hands-on Production Team Lead to support coil line operations. This is a working leadership role responsible for guiding the team, maintaining workflow, and ensuring production, safety, and quality standards are met.

Job Function:
- Lead daily production operations and coordinate workflow to meet demand

Monitor line performance and drive process improvements

Ensure safety standards and company policies are consistently followed

Train, coach, and support team members

Oversee work orders, production schedules, and documentation accuracy

Perform quality checks and ensure materials meet specifications

Troubleshoot operational or equipment issues and partner with maintenance as needed

Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work environment (5S)
Required Skills:
- Valid driver’s license
-
3+ years of experience in manufacturing, production, or material handling
-
Prior leadership or team lead experience preferred

Strong problem-solving, organization, and time management skills

Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and work in varying temperatures

Basic math, measurement, and computer skills

Strong communication and ability to lead a team effectively
Preferred:

Warehouse or metals industry experience

High School Diploma or GED
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM
Pay: $18–$22/hr (DOE) + $5 shift differential
