Hanover Foods Corporation - Centre Hall, PA, is currently seeking a 2nd Shift Warehouse Person B. The 2nd Shift Warehouse Person B is responsible for the accurate and efficient supply of materials and equipment to and from specified areas, and the arrangements of the warehouses under the guidelines specified.
This 2nd Shift position includes a $0.50 Shift Differential when working during the hours of 3pm - 11pm. Hanover Foods Corporation offers a competitive rate of pay and comprehensive benefits package such as medical, dental, prescription drug, and 401(k).
The duties listed below are representative of the types of responsibilities required for the role. Additional tasks may be assigned as needed to meet the needs of the organization:
Operate equipment (including but not limited to lift truck, tractor trailer) in accordance with good safety practices.
Keep assigned equipment in good, clean, safe condition, reporting any mechanical problems to the supervisor.
Remove product from production and place it in its proper place in the warehouse.
Responsible for paper counts, product coding and all other necessary paperwork.
Keep work area clean in accordance with good housekeeping practices.
Learn to know where to find all items in the warehouse.
Perform any duties related to the warehouse operation.
Must be capable of doing inventory of supplies and set orders.
Constantly attempt to learn all possible information so as to qualify for advancement to Warehouse Person A.
Responsible for following food safety, legality and quality policies and procedures within the scope of the job responsibilities such as: GMP’s, food safety, product quality, food security, etc.
Adhering to common safety practices and procedures.
Responsible for performing data entry in an efficient and accurate manner.
Other duties as assigned by Supervisor and Warehouse Manager.
