EXPERIENCE: good experience in Maintenance of Transformers, TRN (Transfer Turns Ratio-TTR), PU (Per-Unit System)

1. Preventive and Corrective Maintenance

• Perform routine inspection, preventive maintenance, and corrective maintenance of 33kV substations and associated equipment.
• Ensure proper functioning of transformers, circuit breakers, isolators, relays, and protection systems.
• Identify faults and perform troubleshooting to restore normal operations.

2. Equipment Monitoring and Testing

• Monitor the operational condition of power transformers, switchgear, protection relays, and control panels.
• Conduct periodic testing such as:
• Insulation resistance tests
• Relay testing
• Transformer oil testing
• Circuit breaker testing

3. Fault Detection and Troubleshooting

• Investigate electrical faults and equipment failures in the substation.
• Analyze root causes of system faults and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate with the operations team to minimize downtime.

4. Safety and Compliance

• Ensure strict adherence to electrical safety regulations and standards.
• Follow lockout/tagout procedures and safety protocols during maintenance activities.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory and company safety policies.

5. Documentation and Reporting

• Maintain maintenance records, inspection reports, and equipment history logs.
• Prepare technical reports related to maintenance activities and equipment performance.
• Update maintenance schedules and operational documentation.

6. Coordination and Supervision

• Coordinate with technicians, electricians, and contractors during maintenance activities.
• Supervise maintenance teams during installation, testing, and commissioning work.
• Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and technicians.

7. Emergency Response

• Respond quickly to power outages, equipment failures, and system emergencies.
• Implement emergency maintenance procedures to restore electrical supply.

8. System Upgrades and Improvements

• Participate in substation upgrade projects, equipment replacement, and modernization programs.
• Recommend improvements to enhance system reliability and operational efficiency.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Contract

Pay: AED3,500.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
