Key Responsibilities
- 3D Asset Creation: Design, model, texture, and light high-quality 3D assets (characters, objects, environments) based on concept art, blueprints, or project requirements.
- Texturing and Shading: Apply detailed textures, materials, and shaders to 3D models to enhance realism and visual appeal.
- Lighting and Rendering: Set up and optimize scene lighting and rendering settings to produce high-quality, final visual outputs or real-time performance.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Art Directors, and clients, to ensure designs align with the overall project vision and technical constraints.
- Feedback and Iteration: Participate in design reviews, receive constructive feedback, and iterate on designs to refine and improve the final product.
- Stay Updated: Conduct research on the latest industry trends, software, and techniques to maintain a competitive skill set.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in 3D Software: Expertise in industry-standard 3D modeling and animation software (e.g., Blender, Autodesk Maya, 3ds Max, Cinema 4D).
- Rendering Engines: Knowledge of rendering software (e.g., V-Ray, Arnold, Redshift, Octane).
- Image Editing: Proficiency in graphic design software like Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator for texture creation and post-production.
- Modeling Techniques: Strong understanding of polygonal modeling, UV mapping, and topology.
