3D Designer

ROCHE BOBOIS, world leader in the high-end furniture industry is looking for a 3D Designer within it's Minneapolis, MN showroom.

The role of the 3D Designer is to assist the sales staff in the design customer projects/ presentation as well as assisting the store manager in the merchandising of the showroom and the various administrative tasks of the store.

The main responsibilities will be:

Customer Projects Preparation:

• To assist sales associates during customer home visits (measurements..)
• To draft and render floor plan projects through our 3D software (20/20) as well as AutoCAD and Photoshop when needed;
• To prepare customer presentations using Roche Bobois templates.

Merchandising and sales tools:

• To maintain materials library and update vendor catalogs/pricelists.
• To contact vendors for samples requests/ information on goods
• To maintain showroom’s tear sheet library;
• To update tagging on the store floor;
• To take part in the preparation of our store floor plans and become the guarantor of the respect of our Merchandising guidelines;

Customer service:

• To welcome and greet customers when needed;
• To assist the sales staff in providing/ presenting sales tools (tear sheets, sample books..) to the customers;
• To prepare quotes when needed, under the sales staff supervision;

Requirements:

• AutoCAD, Adobe Photoshop, MS Office;
• Motivation to work in a sales environment;
• Bachelor degree or equivalent;
• Interest in the furniture business;
• 20/20 knowledge a plus

Schedule = 5 days a week with weekends being worked days

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
