Key Responsibilities
- 3D Modeling: Creating high-quality 3D models (characters, props, or buildings) using polygonal or NURBS modeling techniques.
- Texturing & UV Mapping: Applying realistic textures and materials to models. This includes unwrapping UVs to ensure textures fit the geometry perfectly.
- Lighting & Rendering: Setting up virtual lighting environments and using render engines (like V-Ray, Corona, or Arnold) to produce photo-realistic images or videos.
- Animation: Bringing objects or characters to life using keyframing, rigging, and path-controlled animation.
- Architectural Visualization (ArchViz): Translating 2D blueprints (CAD/PDF) into accurate 3D floor plans, interiors, and exterior walkthroughs.
- Post-Production: Refining raw renders in software like Adobe Photoshop or After Effects to enhance colors, lighting, and special effects.
### Required Technical Skills
- Core Software: Expert proficiency in Autodesk 3ds Max.
- Render Engines: Mastery of V-Ray, Corona, or Lumen (for real-time).
- Supporting Tools: * Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop (texturing/post-pro) and After Effects (compositing).
- AutoCAD/Revit: Ability to import and work with architectural drawings.
- ZBrush/Mudbox: (Optional) For high-detail organic sculpting.
- Technical Knowledge: Understanding of topology, light physics, and material properties.
