3D Packaging Designer

About the Role:

We are looking for a freelance 3D Packaging Designer to create realistic product packaging mockups and renders for client presentations, marketing, and digital platforms. The work focuses on visual accuracy and realism, not character animation.

Scope of Work:

• Create 3D packaging mockups (boxes, bottles, jars, pouches, tubes, labels)
• Apply provided artwork and branding onto 3D models
• Produce high-quality, photorealistic renders
• Set up materials, textures, lighting, and camera angles
• Deliver visuals for presentations, websites, and e-commerce
• (Optional) Create simple product rotation or reveal animations

Required Skills:

• Strong experience in 3D packaging mockups and product visualization
• Proficiency in tools such as:
• Blender / Cinema 4D / 3ds Max
• KeyShot / Redshift / Octane (any is fine)
• Solid understanding of:
• Packaging materials (plastic, glass, paper, foil)
• Lighting and realistic rendering
• Ability to convert 2D label artwork into accurate 3D packaging visuals

Nice to Have (Not Mandatory):

• Basic animation skills for simple product spins
• Experience with Amazon or e-commerce packaging visuals
• Knowledge of packaging structures and dielines

Deliverables:

• High-resolution rendered images
• Editable source files (as agreed)
• Optional short animation clips (if required per project)
