Now Carl’s Place has expanded beyond screens to sell Golf Simulators and all the accessories needed to make a dream indoor golf setup a reality.

Job Summary:

Carl’s Place is looking for a designer who can turn complex golf simulator setups into clear, visual experiences that help customers confidently buy. This role blends golf room design, 3D visualization, and e-commerce-focused graphic design.

Your creative expertise will play a crucial role in bringing realistic and immersive experiences to our users. Collaborating closely with cross-functional and interdepartmental teams, you will drive the creative and technical execution from concept to delivery, producing work that helps transform ideas into photo-realistic assets and supports key business initiatives.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead the creation of high-quality renderings, visualizations, and concept art that define, elevate, and showcase golf simulator products.
  • Own the creative process of modeling and delivering high-fidelity 3D assets with a strong emphasis on clean topology, proper edge flow, and accurate real-world scale, for various use cases, including golf simulator room design and immersive web experiences.
  • Design and plan golf simulator rooms based on client specifications, producing photorealistic interior architectural visualizations and high-end lighting setups of custom golf simulator environments to maintain our leadership in golf room design services.
  • Own and drive the golf simulator room modeling and rendering process pipeline from A to Z, including researching and implementing process improvements that reduce overhead and turnaround time of technical projects.
  • Develop highly optimized, low-poly geometry specifically tailored for real-time web configurators, ensuring maximum visual quality within strict performance budgets.
  • Execute efficient UV unwrapping and layout, alongside high-to-low poly texture baking workflows, to author realistic PBR materials.
  • Conduct QA on 3D assets to ensure they meet technical specifications for both offline rendering and real-time web deployment.
  • Design creative assets for product launches, promotions, and initiatives
  • Edit, retouch, resize, and optimize images and graphics for brand alignment and multi-platform use
  • Design and produce customer-facing materials (manuals, technical guides, packaging, inserts, sell sheets) for both digital and print, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and proper production specifications
  • Provide flexible design support across departments as needed
  • Organize and manage design files, asset libraries, and naming conventions for team accessibility

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Computer Graphics, Architecture, or a related field.
  • 4-6 years of professional experience in 3D modeling, rendering, or design (preferably in product visualization), with a strong portfolio.
  • Proficiency in Blender and rendering engines (cycles) to deliver final imagery.
  • Proficient in using Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Proven ability to think creatively, work independently, manage projects from concept to final delivery, and contribute effectively in a collaborative team environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail, with a passion for creating visually stunning and immersive experiences.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively present design concepts and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
