About the Job

• This is for a center-based tutor for 3rd-5th grade students.
• Tutor will be working with students 1-on-1 for math and ELA support. These are students who have been identified as having a need for tutoring.
• Sessions will be 1 hour to 1.5 hours long with the tutor working one-on-one with the students for 20-30 minutes each.
• The Center is asking for tutors to do 1 hour to 1.5 hour sessions two times a week for a total of 10 hours a month. The tutor must be available to meet for these sessions between 3-5pm Monday through Friday when the center is open.
• Tutor will be working at the Center's site in Cleveland, OH 44127 near the Morgana Bluff's Nature Preserve.

Qualifications

• Ideal candidates have prior experience working with elementary students.
• Ideal candidates will have prior experience teaching/tutoring elementary ELA & math skills.
• Ideal candidates will have experience working with special needs students.
• Willing to travel within your preferred local radius to meet the student (typically 5-10 miles)
• Due to insurance requirements, applicants must not be a minor.

Student Availability

MON-FRI: 3:00pm-5:00pm
