3rd Shift Dispatcher (Logistics/Transportation)

HIRING FOR:

SUNDAY - WEDNESDAY 9PM - 7:30AM

WEDNESDAY - SATURDAY 6PM - 4:30AM

Duties

• Coordinate daily dispatch activities by assigning loads to drivers based on delivery schedules, confirming these drivers, vehicle availability, and route optimization.
• Monitor loads and drivers to ensure efficient routing, real-time tracking, and adherence to delivery timelines.
• Communicate effectively with drivers via multi-line phone systems, maintaining professional phone etiquette while providing clear instructions and support.
• Manage information that is being entered to ensure accuracy is being delivered in all updates sent out.
• Provide our Customer with timely, accurate updates
• Maintain consistent and detailed communications with team and management

Requirements

• Proven experience in dispatching or transportation management within a logistics or supply chain environment.
• Strong knowledge of transportation planning tools including GPS devices, TMS system, and a sense of urgency
• Experience with Class A Drivers and routing/planning
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to handle multiple phone lines efficiently while maintaining professionalism.
• Demonstrated analysis skills for reviewing transportation data and optimizing routes or processes.
• Proficiency in data entry with high attention to detail using systems Excel, TMS systems, email and text/phone etiquette
• Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities effectively.
