Primary Focus:
The primary role of the Material Handler/Forklift Driver is to provide all required materials to each department before they are required.
Specific Accountabilities:
- Operates forklift equipment as required, ensuring that safety standards are followed.

Moves raw materials to production lines as assigned. Ensures that supplies arrive in proper quantities as scheduled.

Conducts all materials handling procedures in accordance with established Company policies and procedures and safety regulations.

Place all materials in the designated area.

Ensure that all parts have been accounted for based on the pick list.

Check off all delivered parts before the end of your shift.

Communicate with Supervisors to ensure clear lines of communication.
-
Multi-task and prioritization in accordance with company daily schedule and requirements.
-
Accurately update the inventory management system to reflect real-time inventory status and facilitate easy tracking.

Perform periodic audits to verify inventory accuracy and resolve discrepancies with the Inventory Analyst team.

Monitor and report any material damage or discrepancies.

Proficiency with computer-based inventory systems, including MRP/ERP platforms (SAP, Oracle, Sage, or similar, preferred).

Ability to accurately enter, track, and reconcile inventory data within MRP/ERP systems.

Strong computer literacy with the ability to learn new software quickly and navigate digital workflows efficiently.

Experience using warehouse management systems (WMS) for material movement, inventory accuracy, and production support.

Comfortable generating reports, analyzing data, and troubleshooting system discrepancies within ERP environments.

It is very important that the incumbent of this position can work and communicate with prudence, while effectively managing time, completing tasks, and working safely.

Use of Personal Protection Equipment will be required (e.g., safety glasses, safety boots, ear protection, cut level 5 gloves etc.).

Regularly works near moving parts.

Requires good manual dexterity (hand, hand with arm, two hands) and multi-limb coordination.

Noise levels can fluctuate from quiet to loud.

May work in tight spaces

Education and Experience:
- Microsoft office, required.

Forklift experience required.

High school graduate or equivalent preferred

Safety certifications are preferred.

Must have a valid US Driver License.

Analytical problem solver with good communication skills.

Knowledge of inventory receiving, processing, and storage procedures.
- Understanding of production line supply requirements and general production operations.
- Experience with all safe practices, procedures, and overall processes.

Experience with Sheet Metal. Hardware, Electronics, and shop tools a PLUS

Familiarity with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement practices to enhance operational efficiency preferred.

Must meet physical fitness standards necessary for frequent lifting, walking, and standing.

Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment to ensure seamless operations across departments.

Ability to adapt to changing work schedules, environments, and operational priorities.
