4K Teacher

The 4K Teacher should be an individual with a teaching license certifying them to teach the 4K age. They will be responsible for following curriculum provided by the Eau Claire Area School Districts EC4T Programming. It is expected that they be able to create and develop lesson plans and activities that align with the curriculum and effectively engage the children. They will be responsible for helping children engage in developmentally appropriate activities and play. As well, they will be expected to hold high standards of cleanliness, organization, and positivity. A qualified candidate will have a passion for childcare, be dependable, and it is preferred the candidate has prior experience in early childhood education.

Job Duties:

● Teach developmentally appropriate activities that will support the child's goals before Kindergarten

● Follow all licensing standards

● Encourage positive interactions between children and adults within the classroom

● Maintain a clean classroom

● Day to day activities such as but not limited to feeding, playing with,

cleaning up after, and caring for children

● Other duties as needed

Qualifications:

● Must pass a background check AND have an active teaching license

● A passion to work with children and families

● Strong interpersonal skills
