Position Summary
Hamilton Christian School is seeking a passionate, faith-filled 4th Grade Classroom Teacher who is committed to providing a Christ-centered education that nurtures both the mind and spirit of each student. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a deep love for Jesus Christ, a heart for children, and a dedication to academic excellence. The teacher will be responsible for all aspects of classroom instruction, spiritual development, and fostering a positive, engaging learning environment.
Responsibilities
· Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging, standards-based lessons in all core subject areas (Reading, Writing, Math, Science, and Social Studies) through a biblical worldview.
· Create a nurturing, Christ-centered classroom environment that promotes spiritual growth, character development, and academic excellence.
· Integrate faith and learning by helping students see God’s presence and purpose in every subject.
· Assess student learning regularly and use data to guide instruction and individualized support.
· Maintain accurate records of student progress, attendance, and behavior.
· Communicate consistently and compassionately with parents and guardians to build strong home-school partnerships.
· Model Christ-like behavior, integrity, and servant leadership in all interactions with students, families, and staff.
· Collaborate with colleagues to support a cohesive and mission-aligned school culture.
· Participate in staff devotions, professional development, chapel services, and school community events.
· Uphold and actively support the mission, vision, and core values of Hamilton Christian.
· Perform additional duties as assigned by school leadership.
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
· Valid state teaching certification (Elementary Education or equivalent).
· A personal relationship with Jesus Christ and commitment to growing in faith.
· Experience teaching in a Christian school environment preferred.
· Strong classroom management, organization, and communication skills.
· Ability to integrate biblical principles into all areas of instruction.
· A heart for ministry and a desire to see students grow academically and spiritually.
