4th Grade Teacher – ASM Camelback

Start Date: July 20, 2026
Compensation: $48,331.25 – $54,571.89 annually DOE
Academies of Math and Science (AMS) is a network of high-performing K–8 public charter schools dedicated to academic excellence and closing the achievement gap. We are seeking a passionate and dedicated 4th Grade Teacher to join our team and deliver high-quality instruction that prepares students for long-term success.

Plan and deliver engaging, standards-aligned lessons in core subjects (ELA, Math, Science, and Social Studies)

Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of all students

Use data-driven practices to assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly

Establish and maintain a structured, positive classroom environment

Communicate regularly with families regarding student performance and progress
-
Collaborate with colleagues, instructional coaches, and school leadership
-
Participate in professional development and continuous improvement initiatives
-
Establish and maintain a structured, positive, and high-expectations classroom environment
-
Implement PBIS and preventative intervention strategies to support student behavior and engagement
-
Build strong relationships with students to foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom culture
-
Promote student accountability, collaboration, and a growth mindset
-
Communicate regularly with families regarding student academic progress and classroom updates
-
Participate in parent-teacher conferences and school-wide events
-
Foster strong partnerships with families to support student success
Candidates must meet one of the following requirements:

Valid teaching certification in Elementary Education or a related subject area, OR
-
Bachelor’s degree in a related field of study (e.g., Elementary Education or similar field), OR
-
Minimum of three (3) years of K–8 teaching experience
Additionally, candidates must:

Demonstrate strong classroom management skills

Show commitment to serving Title I and multilingual learner communities

Possess strong organizational and communication skills
-
Demonstrate collaboration, professionalism, and initiative in a team-based environment

Pass required background checks and obtain an Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
