Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards across subjects such as literacy, math, science, social studies, and technology integration.
- Foster a classroom environment that promotes respect, collaboration, and active participation among students.
- Utilize diverse teaching strategies including curriculum development, learning technology tools, and differentiated instruction to meet varied student needs.
- Assess student progress through formative and summative evaluations, including standardized testing preparations and ongoing assessments.
- Provide mentorship and behavioral management support to cultivate positive classroom dynamics and address individual challenges effectively.
- Incorporate early childhood education principles and childhood development insights to support students’ emotional and social growth.
- Collaborate with special education teams to adapt lessons for students with autism or other learning differences, ensuring inclusive education practices.
- Engage in regular communication with parents and guardians regarding student progress, behavioral concerns, and upcoming activities.
- Participate in school-wide initiatives such as tutoring programs, library services coordination, or extracurricular activities to enrich student experiences.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, lesson plans, and other administrative documentation necessary for education administration.

- Proven classroom management skills that foster a safe and productive learning environment.
- Strong writing skills for creating clear lesson plans, assessments, and communication materials.
- Expertise in literacy education and math instruction tailored for 5th-grade learners.
- Experience working with children of diverse backgrounds, including early intervention strategies for students needing additional support.
- Familiarity with standardized testing procedures and data analysis to inform instruction.
- Knowledge of curriculum development techniques across core subjects including science, social studies, and library services integration.
- Ability to utilize learning technology tools effectively within the classroom setting.
- Experience working with students with autism or special needs to implement inclusive teaching strategies.
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with students, parents, colleagues, and school administration.
- Strong understanding of behavior management techniques that promote positive conduct and social-emotional learning.

Pay: $32,500.00 - $35,000.00 per year
