POSITION SUMMARY
JOB DESCRIPTION: The Gift Shop Cashier is responsible for Guest satisfaction by handling all cash and credit card transactions in an expeditious and professional manner
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and maintain positive Guest relation.
- Greet all Guests entering the Gift Shop, thank and invite them back upon leaving.
- Adhere to company Policies and Procedures for all cash handling functions.
- Compute Guest check totals with speed and accuracy.
- Accommodate our Guests and employees by giving prompt service.
- Develop and maintain proper serving techniques.
- Observe all health regulations and safety precautions;.
- Complete any set-up, closing duties and side work assigned.
- Keep the Gift Shop clean and well maintained;.
- Attend all mandatory meetings and training.
- Must have ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Sensitive to Native American Culture.
- Operate within the parameters of the Leech Lake Gaming Human Resource Policy, Departmental Policy Manual and all Tribal Internal Controls (TICs), and all other applicable regulations.
- Secure the assets of Leech Lake Gaming and the Leech Lake Band of Ojibwe.
- Other duties as assigned.
