Job Description

Position: Operations Superintendent
Department: Operations Dept.

Reports to: Operations Manager

Subordinates (If Available): n/a

 

Position Summary:

Control/Follow-up the Daily Operations Activity
 

Key Responsibilities:
 

  • Oversee import and export operations, ensuring full compliance with local customs regulations and international trade laws
  • Coordinate cargo and container logistics, including scheduling, tracking, and documentation
  • Manage all aspects of shipment documentation, including bills of lading, commercial invoices, and packing lists
  • Liaise with freight forwarders, customs brokers, port authorities, and internal teams to ensure timely clearance and delivery
  • Monitor and optimize logistics processes to reduce costs and improve efficiency
  • Resolve operational issues promptly, ensuring minimal disruption to supply chain activities
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of customs regulations and documentation standards
  • Ensure accurate record-keeping and reporting of all shipments and transactions
     

Requirements:
 

  • Proven experience in logistics, customs clearance, and shipping operations
  • Strong knowledge of container handling and international cargo movement
  • Familiarity with import/export documentation and regulatory requirements
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams
  • Proficiency in logistics management systems and MS Office tools

  • Accomplish the daily tasks without errors or incident,
  • Ensuring that the quality of all services provided meets the required standards,

 

Qualifications:

  • Minimum Degree,
     

Education and Experience:

  • Experience in Cargo Operations & Shipments Documentations,
  • English (Written & Spoken),
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, Access & Windows Applications, Outlook,
     

Skills:

  • Excellent Communication Skills,
  • Good Teamwork Player,
  • Ability to work under pressure & challenges,
  • Ability to handle multiple Projects/Tasks,
  • Acknowledging & resolving customer complaints,
     

Preferred Qualifications:
 

  • Experience working with port and customs authorities
  • Background in freight forwarding or a similar logistics environment
